Rustic Countryside Wedding in Nashville, TN

Rustic Countryside Wedding in Nashville, TN

They say that rain on your wedding day will bring good luck in your marriage, but I don’t think Sabrina and Tripp will need it. On a cold day for late April, we travelled just outside Nashville to photograph this simple and beautiful rustic wedding. The skies were grey and the ground was muddy and it was a near forty-degree afternoon as Sabrina got ready at her home.

Her doggo Patches hung out with us while we took photos of the girls getting ready. He was super cute and happy to be watching his momma getting married! He even came down and sat -- perfectly posed! -- while mom put on her shoes!

Needless to say, we were already really excited to be capturing these beautiful moments for Sabrina and Tripp, and that excited remained as we drove out into the countryside on the outskirts of Nashville to the wedding venue. I’m totally a sucker for weddings out in the gorgeous hills of Tennessee. Nothing is sweeter or more simple, and the venue, Rustic Reflections, totally did not disappoint.

The rain continued throughout the day, but these two lovebirds were so amazing and weathered the literal storm for their couple’s session. We did our best to keep warm under suit jackets and camo coats.

The best part of the whole day was capturing the way Tripp looked at Sabrina as they walked back down the aisle -- finally married!
